Free Health Screenings at Local Health Fair
2nd Annual Healthy Aging Living & Learning Expo at the Cohen Community Center in Hallowell
(Hallowell – June 2, 2010) SPECTRUM GENERATONS 2nd Annual Healthy Aging Living and Learning Expo is offering free health and wellness events at the Cohen Community Center located at 22 Town Farm Road in Hallowell on Friday, June 18th from 9:00AM to 3:30PM.
According the Maggie Tardiff, Cohen Center Coordinator, “We have a fantastic line up of exhibitors this year offering free health and wellness screenings. With free admission to the public, we expect steady traffic all day long.”
Start your summer off right by having a sun safety and/or balance screening by Presenting Sponsor MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care. Additional offerings include osteoporosis and health risk assessments screenings by Central Maine Medical Center; spinal and posture screenings by Chiro Works; diabetic shoe fitting by EZ Diabetic Supplies; reflexology sessions by Susan Moulton; inner ear scans by Beltone New England; strength assessments by Age Right Fitness; jewelry cleaning and appraisals by The Village Jeweler; free haircuts by Traveling Stylz; plus the Elks Club Van will be parked just outside the front doors to do diabetic and hypertension testing.
