Dave Brown - Dynamic New Center Coordinator
Some of the events planned for the near future include art exhibitions in the community room, Friday evening music café’s, Lunch & Learn seminars targeting living healthy and well, technology classes, as well as other health, body & soul nurturing activities.
Dave has been a longtime resident of Topsham – growing up here and then returning here to raise his children. He was co-chair of the Capital Campaign that brought Topsham a new library; he has been a member of the Regional Chamber of Commerce; a member of the regional Rotary club; and a founding board member of Topsham Development, Inc., the group that did all of the improvements to the downtown Topsham area. The Southern Midcoast Community Center has been in its present location since early this year. Boasting a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, beyond activities and recreation, services focus on keeping folks connected through offerings like Meals on Wheels, help through the maze of red tape and getting answers through Consumer Information Services, Wi-Fi, a cyber cafe and more. You are invited to stop in to meet Dave at Spectrum Generations Southern Midcoast Community Center, and check out the many fun and educational classes and seminars offered for adults with no membership requriements. Center walk in hours are week days from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Spectrum Generations is pleased to announce the arrival of Dave Brown as the new Center Coordinator for its Southern Midcoast Community Center in Topsham. Dave started with a bang on July 5th, bringing with him a sense of excitement and enthusiasm for what the center is fast becoming. When pressed for specifics, Dave’s ideas for activities, seminars, and special events for the coming months and years come tumbling out so fast it is hard to hear them all.
