Testimonials

One of the programs that your donations funds is Meals on Wheels.  Here is what people who are affected by the program have to say.

"I am 91 years old, partially blind and very hard of hearing. Without MOW I certainly couldn’t stay alone. The meals are always good, and the people who deliver them are all so kind and thoughtful."

"I can’t say enough about the meals on wheels program. It has been a life saver for me. As I cannot cook I am sure of a nice balanced meal once a day for five days a week. If I didn’t receive these meals I would live on TV dinners and can goods. We receive a nice meal from a dependable organization of people who care for you and put themselves out for you. From the drivers to the top people everyone does more than their part."

"I am thankful for the nutritious meals that are brought to me everyday of the week. Being elderly makes it hard to cook all my meals, besides its very affordable seeing that I am on a fixed income. Thank you so much for caring.

"Meals on Wheels has been a life saver for me."

"Meals on Wheels have been an answer to my prayers for me. My husband passed away in October and prior to that he had been doing much of the cooking for several years. The doctors say I have angina as well as congestive heart failure and hypoglycemia. And more recently shingles that appeared around my left eye which bothers my eye sight. Since the many veggies and fruits served each day, my heart is causing less discomfort. The different meals and fish provide the protein needed for the hypoglycemia, and the servings are large enough for lunch and supper. Wherever did you find the pleasant friendly folks that I look forward to seeing each noon? I don’t know how to express an adequate thank you."
